Playing around in Flash CS6...
I've always preferred Flash MX over later versions of Flash for inking. From 2004 on, I've felt that the brush tool hasn't had the same ease and flow (even though it actually had more control options). I've also known that MX's days were numbered -- it's over a decade old at this point. That said, I recently opened up Flash CS6 figuring the brush tool would suck for inking. To my surprise it didn't! While it still hasn't captured the feeling of MX's brush, I found CS6's brush to be the closest they've come (mind you I didn't even bother trying a few versions in the middle there). Anyway... woo hoo!!
